Pittsboro
Pittsboro is in Chatham county in the Piedmont area of NC, located close to Haw River and Jordan Lake. This small town is home to a little over 4,000 residents and is ideally situated at the intersection of US 64 and Hwy 15-501. It is 16 miles to Chapel Hill, 25 miles to Research Triangle Park, and 32 miles to Raleigh.

This quaint community offers seven parks and a downtown historic district. Pittsboro Fall Street Fair in October is a great community event offering arts, crafts, live music and food. Nearby Jordan Lake offers fishing, boating and beach areas for recreation and enjoyment.

Pittsboro will soon be home to Chatham Park, a planned development district which will bring 22,000 new residents to the community and offer 30% of the community as green space. This master planned development seeks to offer places to live, work and play and will offer housing, schools, shopping and restaurants, and a corporate business park on 7,000 acres.

This walkable community will include 50 miles of trails so residents can commute to work on foot or bicycle. Amenities will include a smart grid, access to a solar farm and one gigabyte high speed internet. Initial construction will begin in 2018 with houses priced from $250,000 – $400,000.
